Hey Jeff! I'm a saxophonist based out of St. Louis, MO. Love the layout of the page...was wanting to do something similar (for sax) and was wondering what sort of copyright scenarios you've encountered in posting these transcriptions?
ReplyDeleteI have not, to date, had anyone object to the transcriptions - most living artists consider them to be helpful in promoting their recordings. I try to avoid posting interpretations of melodies if at all possible so that the composers don't get worked up -- chord changes are fair game. Hope this helps...!
